Information Security Officer: Project Leader (Since 01/2023)

Consistent Cyber Security & Project Management – VW FS AG

Shortly before I started to write my master thesis I knew the time was right to prove myself in leadership and a new challenge. At the beginning of 2023 I was asked to lead a subproject in our ongoing cyber security initiative. I am currently responsible for rolling out central entitlement services (ADFS & AAD) to all our applications in scope, which will make them safer, more user friendly and easier to maintain. As you can imagine it takes focus, dedication and good communication to make a project a success. This project will continue into next year with a focus on the SAP environment.

Information Security Officer: Review & Process Manager (Since 08/ 2020)

Information Security & Governance – VW FS AG

After finishing my dual study program, I took the chance to start my career in the great team of the FS Information Security. I was quickly made a Process Manager in the central Information Security process, the biggest process in our house. Furthermore I am conducting onsite/offsite 2nd-line reviews for the international subsidiaries of the VW FS AG (Europe & North America) and for external service providers. The focus of my work also lies on project management and upholding the successful ISO 27001 certification of our ISMS. Last year I also received my second certification as an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.

Apprenticeship - Dual Study Program (Since 08/2017)

VW FS AG

After accepting the offer to study and work in and with the VW FS AG, I really took a deep dive into IT. I was able to get to know different departments in the company, like Business Intelligence, IT-Ops and especially application development. I learned programming in C#, SAP environment and Python. I especially gained knowledge in agile development and frameworks, through a stay in the Digital Unit in Berlin.
