M. Sc. - Business Information Systems

Next to working at VW FS AG I decided to go for a Master of Science at the TU Braunschweig. To gain real knowledge that would benefit my work and to my passion for new technologies, I focused on Artificial Intelligence, IT-Security and project management. I started my studies on 1.10.2020, during the corona epidemic. It took real endurance and persistence to succeed in that phase, but nonetheless, I achieved my masters degree even next to my work in just 2 1/2 years.
I completed my degree with a grade of 1.9.
My master thesis focused on the automation of human leadership through AI and technology. I wrote on „Algorithmic Leadership – A systematic literature review“ and was graded with 1.3. My thesis was received so well, that the results are in the process of being published at the „Zeitung für Führung und Organisation“
B. Sc. - Business Information Systems

After High School I was looking for a degree that would suit my skills and also bring me joy. I first thought about studying chemistry or mathematics, but I wanted to do something more practical and more IT related. I had always had a great interest in computers and programming. With the economics background of my high school the choice was easy and I decided to apply for Business Information Systems (Wirtschaftsinformatik). Business Information Systems combines practical IT knowledge with economic theories and prepares you for working in IT and communicating the advantages of it to people.
After first thinking about studying in a traditional way in TU Braunschweig, I saw the dual study program of the VW FS AG. I applied, thinking I would never be taken and almost threw the letter with the official offer in the trash by accident! Fortunately I found it and accepted the offer for the start in 08/2017.
In my studies I focused on project management (agile/waterfall) and IT-Security. I wrote my bachelor thesis after being in the Digital Unit in Berlin in the digital program about the usage of Artificial Intelligence in Data Analytics. My thesis was graded 1.0.
I completed my degree with a grade of 1.5 as one of the best students among my classmates.

After attending the Realschule until shortly before the Oberstufe (final stage of secondary education), I realized that I had more potential. Therefore, I switched to BBS 11 – Business Vocational School. My school experience was characterized by economic courses such as Economics and Business Administration (VWL and BWL), which allowed me to receive a solid foundation in economics. I have always demonstrated a talent for mathematics, which is why I chose courses in Mathematics and Computer Science in addition to my major courses in German, Economics, and Business Administration. I also selected Spanish as my foreign language. Despite my unusual educational journey, I graduated from the gymnasium as the top student with an average grade of 1.5.
